PRO CERAMIC COATING VS DIY…
When you as the consumer are thinking of paint protection, I’m sure the thought and understand doesn’t translate the same for everyone. in our many years of experience, some clients think some turtle wax is sufficient enough to protect their vehicles paint and in all actuality this is nothing more than band aid and very temporary solution to protecting the paint. “ I’m thinking about buying this DIY 69H Hardness, graphene armor in a bottle off of Amazon and doing it myself at home, it’ll save me $”, we hear client’s say similar things from time to time and we’re not going to tell you that you can’t do this, we just advise not to as this could cost you more $ long term to remediate any issues caused by said coating.
We encourage our client here at Austin Auto Finishes to do their research (even after we discuss and educate you) this allows them to come with some better understanding of current products and their abilities. NOT all coatings are EQUAL! This is very important to understand. “Ceramic Coating” is almost as common as Ketchup in terms of it’s use of the word. Ceramic Spray, Ceramic Sealant, Ceramic Wax, Ceramic Coating and so on… these are just a few over the counter names used. These products are NOT a replacement for a professionally installed Ceramic Coating, however, some of these are ok to use after you wash every 6-8 weeks (we recommend you wash more often, just more referring to the use of the spray product itself).
It’s worth the cost to have a TRUE PROFESSIONAL GRADE AUSTIN AUTO FINISHES CERAMIC COATING installed, versus a DIY product that may or may not work, may or may not mess your paint up. Reach out to us today for your free quote!
